Elijah Amoo Addo is a 26-year-old social entrepreneur and founder of West Africa’s first food bank! ‘Today I run a social enterprise known as Food for All Africa Programme and SDG 2 Farms. Due to this programme, vulnerable groups such as children in orphanages, elderly and mentally challenged people are provided sustainable means of nutrition.’

His company is a social enterprise that creates efficiency within Ghana’s food supply chain by bridging the gap between rural production of local food products and urban demand. ‘We operate urban stores that supply safe, quality and traceable livestock and local farm products to hotels, restaurants and urban residents. This ensures rural farmers have a direct market in urban cities for their products.’
