WalChat is a registered tech-startup with the mission of reaching out to the masses in Africa with a new multi-purpose cloud-based instant messaging application that will have a cross-border digital payment solution, powered by blockchain technology; which will permit users to transfer digital funds between and among diverse payment platforms in seconds using a phone number, email address or QR Code.

Our market size encapsulates smartphone users, instant messaging app users, cryptocurrency users, and blockchain enthusiasts. With a projected 450 million social network users in Africa by the end of 2020, we foresee WalChat as a potential app to promote electronic/digital payments as we drive the creation of a new financial ecosystem which will economically open up Africa for total financial inclusion in the face of the Continental Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
