Vokenel Limited is a Kenyan Based company that supplies organic baobab fruit powder and baobab oil under the brand name “Ubuyu”. Baobab fruit powder is a fast growing super food globally due its numerous nutritional benefits and is also used in making cosmetic products such as face masks. Baobab oil is a highly sort after cosmetic oil due to its numerous benefits to the skin and hair and is used as an ingredient in face creams, face masks, conditioners, shampoos, lotions and body scrubs. We source our raw materials from over 50 farmers, mostly women, in the semi-arid area of Kibwezi, Kenya. Buying “Ubuyu” baobab products has a direct impact back in the rural community where the “ubuyu” fruit is sourced by helping farmers and processors earn a living through employment, helping farmers improve their livelihoods, access better healthcare and educate their children.
