USOMI Limited is an agricultural technical services company that seeks to address the poor adoption of agricultural technologies and farming best practices. We work to increase access to the right inputs, markets and production maximization knowledge and information, even as our core business is to link farmers to structured markets. Our mission is to promote sustainable farming systems, nutritious food supplies and improved livelihoods for smallholder farmers in Africa. Our business works with smallholder farmers to ensure they receive appropriate inputs, training and extension support and linkage to markets. All of our farmers have forward contracts and are generally engaged in primary production in informal value chains (Staple grains and indigenous poultry). This is an industry with a combined value of over 800 million USD in Kenya alone. USOMI differentiates itself by ensuring that farmers have the tools and technology for year-round production of high quality produce.
