Urban Care Company Limited Excellent Healthcare Made Accessible.

Urban Care is planning and executing the healthcare solutions in Fumba Town – a newly developed satellite town to Zanzibar’s capital, built according to permaculture principles. In March 2019 we opened the first primary care facility that continues to grow; goal is to set an example in Zanzibar in adherence to internationally recognized medical guidelines, structured work ethics, empathetic patient care. Training of local healthcare providers, cooperations with surrounding healthcare facilities, the new implementation of a strong referral network and community outreach programs will all contribute to the goal of setting a new standard of healthcare provisions in Zanzibar.
After 3 months we could already set us apart with regards to our high standards of care, frequented equally by local Zanzibari patients as well as visitors from abroad. Ultimately, the structures, that we are successfully implementing in Fumba and Zanzibar, will be transferable to other emerging markets.
