Unwaste.io Ltd A cloud platform supporting a circular economy for plastic waste

Unwaste.io is building a digital platform to help deal with the production and discarding of plastic waste. We target countries where traditional solid waste management faces systemic constraints. We use modern mobile technology to monitor plastic waste found in the environment, focusing on the global south. Our next phase is a mobile-based waste transaction intermediation, using a simple Android app to facilitate transparent transaction between buyers (reprocessors) and sellers (waste pickers) of waste. By giving waste pickers access to a wider, fairer marketplace, we can improve their financial security and create thriving, local and circular markets for plastic waste.
