The purpose of UNA is to make digital currencies more accessible, while also simplifying and educating people on how digital currencies operate, and what the benefits are.
We believe that the people who would benefit the most from digital currencies, currently don’t have access to it. This is because most currencies are not accessible. Another problem is that people in emerging markets do not fully understand the technology.
Our native digital currency, “UNA”, serves as the backbone of the UnA ecosystem, and aims to address this problem. It is used as a store of value, method of exchange, and also serves as a method to access additional services offered in the UnA Ecosystem.
UNA is built on the CryptoNote protocol (Similar to Monero), and that total supply is 22,512,800, which corresponds with the GDP of Africa.
We have already launched desktop wallet, and soon to follow will be our own internal digital currency exchange, where UNA will be utilised.
