Months ago, I had a frustrating experience during a round trip to Spintex using trotro. The cost of transportation in and out was not only expensive but also marred with fare irregularities, adding to the chaos of the public transport sector. This incident led me to call my best friend, Kwesi, who was also facing transportation challenges in Accra. He had just arrived from Kumasi with luggage and was finding it difficult to access the taxi station with increased demand from alternatives. It was evident that the inaccessibility of taxis and the abundance of competition from new private ride service companies like Yango were contributing to the inefficiencies in the traditional system leading to low revenue for taxi drivers.
We are bridging this gap by providing real-time trotro fare update , remote seat reservation in intercity buses, remote ordering of Taxi’s and providing a platform to facilitate efficient delivery while ensuring road safety and data protection
