TradeFarm is a Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to work towards solving a fundamental problem in our agricultural sector as a country. Currently in Ghana, there is no trusted system that links sellers and buyers of farm produce. This lack of trusted intermediary has led to much inefficiency and loses in the commodity market. This is a market that has the potential of solving our unemployment challenge, rural-urban migration and food insecurity. A lot of food gets wasted in our villages; farmers get fed up and try to move to the cities because they are not getting anything from farming.
