AGRIBUZCHAIN
Agribuzchain is an agribusiness e-commerce platform that promotes farmer’s maximization
of profit by providing unlimited access to exclusive information, and logistics, as well as market to farmers.

In 2018, the Minister of Agricultural and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbe, mentioned
that about thirty to forty percent (30 – 40%) of the foods produced in Nigeria are ultimately
wasted. Farmers in the remote areas always succumb to the bad road networks. In a bid to protect their product from spoiling, they are often exploited by middlemen who buy at ridiculously low
prices and sell at exorbitant rates in the cities.

PIVOT AND SCALING GOALS
With the intervention of Agribuzchain,
-the rate of food wastage in Nigeria will be massively cut down to 5% in the next five years. Food wastage will be totally eradicated before 10 years.

-there will be an alleviation of poverty of farmers in remote areas in Nigeria.
