Research shows females make up less representation on rural councils. My team is predominantly female. They understand and can improvise innovative ways of providing sustainable solutions to the lack of access to maternal health data and other maternal health issues by providing electronic data to the Ghana Ministry of Health and private care providers through engaging and training frontline health workers. They are trained healthcare professionals, medical officers and natives. It also promotes equality in the gender disparity SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
