Taro Farm is commercial chicken production and processing farm. We produce live and processed chicken that are raised directly on our farm. The Nigeria broiler industry has an estimated market value of $600 million and the recent government policy to ban chicken importation has created a huge demand for local producers to meet. Our aim is to tap into this market opportunity and increase our output. Currently our farm has a produces 3000 chicken every six weeks with an average profit of $2000 per cycle. Each bird costs us $2 to produce with a unit profit of 50 cents. We plan to increase our capacity to 20,000 birds in the next three years to meet market demand. We supply our products to Frozen food stores, Restaurants, Chicken processors. I head the company as the Director with my background in Animal Science bringing other experts in Accounting, Sales, and Marketing with a combined experience of over thirty five years. We are requesting for equity investors to scale up our production.
