Over 70% of waste generated in Nigeria are not properly disposed and most of which can be recycled. A plastic bottle takes over 500 years for it to decompose, leaving an enormous danger at hand and for future generations.
Street Waste Company was founded with the aim of imbibing waste recycling as culture to Nigerians. SWCL was established in 2016 and started operations in 2017 by engaging informal pickers with our buyback scheme. In our effort to scale up our business model, an aggregating center (CoSoHub) for the recyclable waste collection and sorting is needed. The CoSoHUB is finanacially self sustaining, creates job opportunities and enhances a circular economy.
