In term of bringing inclusivity of farmers in digital development we have founded “smart ikigega project”which help them to access their data using their phone and to receive payment using the unique digital idetinty provided by our system as well as asking their harvest insurance using their phones.
this inclusivity also is shown by allowing the farmers to have full access of bank services where we used to see only the people with monthly salary,revenue are allowed to take direct loans and pay it partially depending on his monthly revenue but most of farmers are not allowed to get direct loan as bank claims saying that”farming is too risky we don’t have proof that they are able to payback” so with this project they will receive the direct loan depending on their harvesting quantity which will show their ability to payback.
all the above option are helping farmers to axpand agriculture on other level digitally .
