We are a Société de Pêche du Kivu which intervenes in the fields of fishing, aquaculture (fish farming in floating cages), the assembly of cages, the manufacture of canoes, the training and supervision of young people diseuvated in the field of fishing techniques, the transport and marketing of fish products, the conservation of fish.
In the first place we have evolved in the training of young people, fishing and the rearing of fish.
We had received funding from Swisscontact for the training programme of 80 vulnerable young people in the town of Bukavu in fishing techniques, we received training in Financial Education organised and financed by GIZ and the Central Bank of Congo, then a grant from the Government of the Congo of floating cages for rearing fish in the project PPT SK. We are a team made up of fishing and fish farming technicians.
