SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES;
SHIMATA Tarime have been strengthening and Empower marginalized women and girls, and communities to scale up response for the survival, growth, development and protection with priority to the most vulnerable and marginalized groups, through the following activities;

i). Cultivation of orange fleshed sweet potatoes, processing and packaging of flour
ii). To improve household food security, health and nutrition among HIV and AIDS affected households, children, pregnancy women and elders through integrated bio intensive crop production.
iii). Provide soft mini loans for community micro-enterprises in order to raise their economic status.
iv). Improve access of the rural poor to saving and credit facilities.
