Path Makers is a construction micro-enterprise launched by two lifelong friends, Seid and Zemzem, who share a vision: to transform rural accessibility in underserved communities by constructing low-cost, durable feeder roads using locally sourced materials and labor-intensive techniques that create jobs.

Inspired by their own village’s isolation during rainy seasons, they are pioneering an approach that blends green engineering with community-based contracting. PathMakers partners with local governments and NGOs to deliver reliable access to markets, schools, and health centers.
What Makes It Unique:
Friendship-built trust as the foundation of strong leadership

Youth employment through training in construction and site management

Sustainable methods using gravel, cobblestones, and bioswale drainage

Rapid mobilization for emergency road repairs in flood-prone zones

With GoGettaz support, Seid and Zemzem will scale operations, acquire compact machinery, and train local
