“Scoops” ChocotogoThe CHOCOTOGO cooperative, created in 2014 by 10 young Togolese, is specialized in the development and processing of bio-Togolese cocoa. It transforms various products such as chocolate, cocoa paste, roasted cocoa beans, dough to spread, … Being the first company to start processing cocoa in Togo, we have worked to bring into the eating habits of the population the consumption of chocolate. At our two production sites we have 80 employees, including 60 women working part time on the Kpalimé site, which helps to ensure the financial autonomy of women and young people. CHOCOTOGO is a handmade chocolate produced using traditional methods from the selection of the beans until the finished product has been obtained. We export to the West African subregion, Japan and Europe.
