Despite the growth witnessed in the Beauty & Personal Care Industry in Kenya today, most local beauty businesses are still struggling. Most of them lack the technical know-how required to embrace the digital market among many other factors. According to research we conducted on salons in Nairobi, the average wait time for clients to be served was 50 minutes. In addition, our findings showed that clients struggle to find information on beauty styling.
Saspacity offers a one-stop marketplace for clients to explore/search prices, reviews, latest styles and discounts for different beauty services offered by different salons. By preloading their e-wallets through M-PESA, our clients can track and control their spending on beauty services. For beauty stylists, we provide an online booking software and a space where they can share detailed service overviews, showcase their work and connect with customers. In the long term, we intend to grow Saspacity to an insight delivery platform.
