Safe Girl Initiative Uganda is a project that envisions a world where menstrual products are affordable and accessible to all rural women and girls.
We conduct menstrual awareness campaigns and pad training in schools and communities, providing accurate information about menstruation, menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and sanitation. So that no woman or Girl will ever feel ashamed, oppressed, or isolated because of menstruation or because they lack information to deal with it appropriately before their start. Some of these Girls force themselves to attend school during that time hence using unhealthy and filthy materials to manage their periods.
