Rike Capital Limited Food production, aggregation, value addition via processing &packaging

Food security, Hunger, malnutrition, and food safety are pressing issues in sub-Saharan Africa. Covid-19 has led to increase in commodity pricing and reduction in the purchasing power of low income earners. At Rike Capital, we are into food production, aggregation and value addition through processing, packaging, marketing/sales. Our products are produced using improve processing method(automated machines, solar dryer) that are safe and healthy to the consumers, staff, and the environment.
In 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic we worked with 16 smallholder farmers(women) with the seed capital($5,000) gotten from Tony Elumelu Foundation and $10,000 from investors, we in-turn bought the produce from the farmers for processing. The profit was shared at 70% for the farmers and 30% for Rike Capital.
Our current market are wholesalers(64 in Abuja, 20 in Kaduna, 9 in Nassarawa and 13 in Lokoja) and high percentage of restaurants, eateries, hotels, and caterers.
