Not only that, there is an increasing state of food insecurity in Ghana. About 5% of Ghana’s population are affected by food insecurity and about 2 million and more people are vulnerable to this threat (Darfour & Kurt, 2016), however there are no or less sustainable growing practices and methods to produce healthy food to solve this food insecurity threat.
PLantON provides customized vegetable growing structures with soilless media that comes with a growing management App to guide vegetable growers and ordinary person to grow organic, traceable and healthy vegetables.
