This is due to the low harvest smallholder farmers caused by the lack of access to capital and yield-enhancing farm inputs. this brings about food shortage and poverty. 

Pearl Farm provides an online farming platform through which people who love to grow their income provides capital to smallholder farmers to expand crop production and in return gets a share of their profit or harvest. We find farmers and gets their data like their acreage and expected return which is uploaded on our online app to find interested investors. Once the investor is got, pearl farm supports the farmer with guidance, connection to high-quality farm input suppliers, training and followup till harvesting where 50% of the profit goes to the farmer,30% to investor and 20% of profit goes to pearl farm.
