Oorja has a talented, driven team of 18 people. Amit Saraogi, CEO, brings 25 years of experience in finance and international development. Dr Clementine Chambon, CTO, brings expertise in renewable energy research. Preeti Kumari, Project Associate, handles project, customer and impact data and studied Ecology and Environmental Studies. Amit Kumar Singh, Operations Associate, has 5 years of experience in social development. Pushpendra Kumar, Operations Engineer, was Oorja’s first employee and has wide experience in solar energy engineering and operations across the project development cycle. Sanjeet Singh, Project Engineer, handles installation, commissioning, testing and training of solar assets. Shraddha Gupta, Field Assistant, handles customer, project and data collection for impact monitoring. Rahul Adhikari and Chandan Chowdhary, Field Assistants, hold degrees in agriculture and handle customer acquisition. Operators and Payment Collections Agents are valued field team members.
