Onja Foods was established in December of 2018, through passion
Our business is driven by providing gluten free food solutions up to the last mile consumer.
This we do through; aggregating farmers growing drought resistant crops that are gluten free, processing this crops into flours and distributing up to the last mile consumer through our distribution channel
The business is in the entry level stage and since its inception, we have successfully served over 300 families with our products.
Onja Foods has also made significant strides in terms of building collaborations with:
-Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute on product development
-Kenya Beauru of Standards on Standardization Mark of Quality on Cassava Flour and Cassava Starch
-Farmers growing Cassava Flour
The business has also identified our niche market as
Gluten intolerant group of people, individuals who over rely on maize and wheat flour which has had a lot of inconsistency over the years, NGOs
