OffGridBox is a project design and engineering company that has as its mission to provide renewable energy and clean water to remote communities around the world. Founded in 2016, we have offices in Hauppauge, New York and Kigali, Rwanda.
We manufacture and install modular and integrated solutions for solar power and safe water. Our projects include energy for health, disaster relief, humanitarian projects in refugee settings, rural electrification and agroforestry. We have worked with organizations like Power Africa, UNDP, UNHCR, IFAD, OXFAM, CEFA, Engie, Aquatech, and GIZ, and have received funding from EEP Africa, DOEN Foundation, Good Energies, USAID, Grand Challenges Canada, Endev, EDP and others.
