If anything the pandemic has taught us the importance of local manufacturing,especially household cleaning products. We are looking to eliminate the need of importing cleaning detergents.The trade deficit we identified in the SADC under the soaps & detergent industry , amounts to $600 million.In simple terms , we can say it validated our vision of becoming local manufacturers of household consumable goods.
We have been operating on a business to customer basis , and we recently got a chance to talk to managers at Pik N Pay , and they have agreed that we can supply Pik N Pay with our products, so we are looking to raise external funding in exchange for equity with the aim of scaling up the business. I realised that the importance of cleaning detergents are somehow underrated to local entrepreneurs,hence the cause of the trade deficit in the SADC region.
For example;every household needs to wash their dishes on a daily basis, mopped , every space needs to be clean.
