Nucleus is a research and innovation firm that is focused on giving life to the next frontier of biotechnology.
We seek to empower researchers who use life science to better the world. Biotechnology is a budding industry in Africa and we aim to be part of that emergence by giving individuals the tools to bring their ideas to life.

There is an abundance of scientific wealth in Africa, which is unable to be fully utilized due to a lack of priorities with the governing bodies. Sub-Saharan Countries spend less than 1% of GDP on research and development. This has caused top scientists to go abroad and pursue their careers, leaving us dependent on international bodies.

We aim to to solve this challenge through building a self sustaining ecosystem for scientists by democratizing scientific research.

Nucleus nurtures biotechnology research by giving the researcher a platform to take their work to the next level and monetize it using entrepreneurship tools.
