About 80% of farmers in Nigeria are smallholder farmers and produce over 90% of Nigeria’s agricultural produce. Challenges they face are access to credit, markets, and extension support. We created 100 GrainPoint outlets in 2020 to solve these challenges. About 36% of our farmers reported improvement in the quality of life and 45% reported an increase in crop production. Based on these improvements, we plan to scale the GrainPoint Outlets across Nigeria so more farmers can benefit. With CFYE funding, we will be able to complete the development of our technology platform and expand the GrainPoint Outlet locations across Nigeria.
