Early diagnosis of blood-related diseases:
e-Scope is a microscope that is both efficient and affordable with a camera enhanced by a mobile
application that will allow users to get early diagnosis of blood-related diseases through the application of several advanced and adapted image processing algorithms according to studies, documentation, real images and samples from Tunisian blood laboratories.
– 212 million Malaria cases in Africa (2018)
– 740 Leukemia cases in Tunisia (2017)
– 240k Sickle Cell new born in Africa (2011)
The project also offers a consumer and less expensive version that does not require the provision from an
ordinary microscope, this version offers an origami microscope with a mobile application.
