Nantoo is geosocial networking platform designed to connect people for daytime in-person meet-ups at restaurants and other outdoor places with the aim of building friendships and/or possible businesses together. Nantoo lists places around users and allows them to create invitations, so that other people can hangout with them at those locations.
Tourists will also use the app to find the best places visit in new cities and connect with trustworthy locals to learn new cultures.
We built Nantoo because we found a gap in the way people connect on social media. Humans are emotional beings who crave stories and connection. Yet, there is no easy way to network with real and authentic people in a locality.
We launched the Nantoo app, and saw 300+ registered users, and 2,900+ swipes on invitations in the app in our first week (with no paid ads). Since then, we have been improving the product and collecting user feedback.
