Nairoun Community Development Initiative (NCDI) is a women-led, community-based organization working at the frontline of protection, inclusion and peacebuilding in fragile and conflict-affected communities.

We focus on preventing and responding to gender-based violence, protecting children, and advancing disability inclusion, while delivering integrated programmes in education, health, WASH, nutrition, livelihoods, women’s economic empowerment, shelter, human rights and advocacy.

What makes NCDI unique is our survivor-centered, disability-inclusive and community-driven approach. We do not work for communities we work with them. By strengthening local systems, empowering women and girls, and engaging men, youth and community leaders, we address both immediate humanitarian needs and the root causes of inequality and conflict.
