We make available highly resistant seeds to ward off unnecessary agro chemicals. We train for better crop management, make access to biopesticides, use of protected horticulture, help with extension services, help certify our farmers product as IPM safe vegetables, reach out to subsistant farmers through agri co operatives, disseminate new technologies like NFT hydroponics and off soil cultivations to help make safer food.
We intervene in rural areas with demonstrations of newer technologies to make nutrition available all year round, eventually making them commercial growers.
We are also in the post harvest as we collect from our farmers to be processed in our GMP standard pack house (hoping to soon export our special products to the world). Started using cold chain as it has never been in use before, reason for highest post harvest loss in vegetables. Being in the whole supply chain, it is possible for us to make the change as most the things has to start from the farm level.
