Mundo de Talentos A.C. World of Talents offers vocational guidance to children in Chiapas

World of Talents offers guidance on works and studies through a three-year intensive program that takes place every Saturday. Children aged between 10 and 13 from different socio-economic backgrounds are selected to participate. Passionate professionals (volunteer speakers) share their work experiences and invite students to learn in a participatory way about possible career opportunities. The sessions are held both at the project headquarters and through excursions to different workplaces. The program spans 15 modules over the 3 years that include architecture, arts, design, biology, journalism and medicine, among many others. The program is aimed at public school students, who would not otherwise have access to vocational guidance. We take into account the equal participation of girls and boys. Every year 40 boys and girls are admitted to the program, adding 120 students in the three generations.
