We produce high quality coffee in Subtropical Bolivia in conjunction with local farm families, paying them a quality bonus for value addition. We also promote the plantation of “bird friendly” coffee trees and discourage the traditional “burn and plant” method. Our aim is to see local small scale farmers engage in further processing of their quality coffee crops, thereby multiplying their income. In the medium term Café Munaipata will concentrate on opening markets for our coffee producers, certifying the quality of their products and promoting a truly fair share for small producers of quality coffee, who are the creators of this noble product.
