
Mt Kenya West Women In coffee (WESTWIC) empowers coffee families on health, wealth, and resilience, through the provision of consultancy services on coffee production and all other coffee-related issues, with emphasis on empowering the women and youth players along the coffee value chain. This is achieved through information dissemination through mobilization and farmers’ training, networking, collaborating with like-minded organizations, access to financial institutions, and linkages to the market. WESTWIC Corporate Social Responsibilities works towards sensitizing, and capacity building farmers in six counties of Kenya, on key issues that address food security, climate change, and poverty alienation through coffee diversification programs and agricultural value addition. Promote health through training on reproductive health for low-income women, Promote gender equality through women and youth empowerment in agribusiness, and improve access to information through modern technology.
