Rui and Lauren founded Mozambikes in 2010. While traveling around rural Mozambique, they saw the struggle of rural communities to access their basic needs due to a lack of efficient transportation. The two Founders have a unique, yet complementary skillset of marketing and operations, capital raising and finance, as well as management. They have built a team of over 30 local workers, including 6 incredible managers.
