Micro Health Initaitive Community Social and Behavior Change (csbc) interventions

Micro Health Initiative a health management NGO started their activities in year 2015 in Moshi
Tanzania, the NGO focused on two major projects namely focus on access to health micro-
Insurance and in this regard worked with SPRING (UK Aid) project to develop girls only health
insurance product named Dada Card, in addition to other stakeholders such as Le-Fil consulting
and FSDT. MHI other project financed by FSDT was development and distribution of health micro
insurance products in the northern zone of Tanzania as well strengthening systems for efficiency.
The learnings and outcomes of this projects have informed MHI strategy ( 2023 – 2026 ) and
therefore prompting a wide focus in the community. Community Social Behavior Change is one
such outcome whereby we shall be focusing on what did not work well and why as well as building
more on what worked well.
