A biotechnology startup that creates fungal biophabics to produce natural ingredients as colorants in a sustainable and scalable way.
We use fungi, the most important biotransformation machines of nature, and apply the latest gene editing techniques to create powerful fungal biophabra. We then produce our ingredients through a very scalable process called “fermentation,” similar to beer production.
Our first products consist of a better natural alternative of colorants that aims to replace all the colorants that are used in the food and cosmetic industries, especially to the artificial ones. With a proposal it is superadora to the current natural colorants for being much more sustainable and at a reasonable cost. In addition, our product, PH and thermostable, has antioxidant properties, is suitable for vegan, Kosher, and Halal diets.
