Mermex is a glass-focused recycling services company, and one of its main goals is to prevent one more kilogram of glass from reaching the sanitary filling.

In Yucatán, we are the first formal company dedicated to the recycling of glass. We provide services for the collection of materials for recycling to the industrial sector, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises such as restaurants, hotels, bars and other shops that generate large quantities of glass and other recyclable materials, and which previously did not have adequate options to recycle them. We offer glass eviction services and recyclable materials for the general public, which makes glass recycling inclusive for virtually all sectors. This has allowed us to keep within the production cycle of glass more than a thousand tons of material since the beginning of operations.
