GOAT ABATTOIR PROJECT.
This Goat Value chain Project will mitigate the following challenges on its smallholder farmers, which are;
1. The lack of a Formal, viable and Readily available Market for their Goats.
2.The lack of First Hand informing on the Standard Goat Production practices to have the best qualities and Genetics.
In order to mitigate the above challenges, the project will establish the following Divisions of operations;
Purchasing- to buy from farmers on a contract basis, as a secured market of all seasons.
Production- for training farmers on the Standard Goat Production practices/provision of best Genetics.
Feedlotting- the Project will jointly feedlot the farmer’s Goats for maximum benefits to farmers.
ABATTOIR- here goats will be slaughtered and farmers Paid instantly.
This is unique/Innovative in way that the Rural Farmers will benefit from the Rare Private sector management as the project will hold them by their hands from their production up to the Abattoir
