Maskan Poa B.C Ltd Alternative Building Technology Using Interlocking SS Blocks

Maskan Poa B.C Ltd came into being after identifying the gap and need for low cost/affordable, decent housing in Kenya especially the rural and sub urban areas. Notably, the Kenyan government states the housing deficit in the country to be 150,000 units per year and an accumulated deficit of 2,000,000 units.
Having realized this need and in appreciation that more than 50% of Kenya’s population is the youth with minimal purchasing power, Maskan Poa sought to serve this market that deserves decent and dignifying houses at a rate affordable to them.
We started with a manual Interlocking Soil Stabilized Blocks Press with a production capacity of 500 blocks per day and in three years have grown to add another hydraulic machine with a capacity of 1200 blocks per day, hence at current our capacity is 1700-2000 blocks per day.
Notably, we are at the growth phase, and hence we still needs capitalization to support our marketing and administrative departments.
