Climate change and water scarcity affect the whole world. Manzi (meaning water in Zulu) is an app that uses smart IoT sensors to monitor household water levels and usage. The app connects users in a neighborhood, allowing those with surplus water to donate, while those in need can request water. Users can also reserve water for future use. The platform matches supply and demand in real time, promotes responsible water sharing, and rewards users who contribute consistently. This creates a sustainable, community-driven water resilience network. It is unique and there is currently no such app available in the world. I have already patented the IP and I have a working demo to pitch. I am looking for the right partners to fully develop, pilot and roll out. This has the potential to be hugely impactful globally in our efforts to be sustainable.
