MagoFarm is an innovation that focuses on producing organic proteins from insects . We produce a protein ingredient called magomeal, which contains 15% more nutritious amino acids than all other alternatives in the market, at a much more affordable price. We are innovating around the efficient conversion of food waste into protein by insect larvae. In the process, we dont just produce organic protein, but also take part in reducing the amount of food waste that goes into local landfills every year. FAO has reported that the world wastes about 30% of all food produced globally which equates to approximately 1.3 billion tonnes a year. We are regional pioneers of waste-to-nutrient insect technology using insect larvae to upcycle organic waste into premium and sustainable proteins for animal feeds.
