Madeinafrica.net is an initiative inspired by Ouwa.org to its entrepreneurship group called Nahya Art. The new fundamental business model for Madeinafrica.net is to become a fully functional online arts portal dedicated to the marketing and sales of arts and crafts from Ghana and Africa as a whole and build a comprehensive network of freelance artists that deliver high quality artworks. The ultimate goal is to serve as a platform which will project artists who for one reason or the other cannot get their concepts and works to the global marketplace.
The difference between Madeinafrica.net and other online African art-oriented websites is that Madeinafrica.net is focused on building an online network of small-town or along-the-roadside creative artists. We provide a common platform for them to create professional art profiles, where they can manage their artwork portfolios leading to sales to international buyers, overseas organizations and art galleries.
