Macquarie Medical Care is a close-corporation that launched Dr MacQ as a telemedicine service, and was founded by Dr Armid Azadeh, a global medical doctor with advanced studies in medicine (University of Cape Town), public health (Johns Hopkins), and business (Quantic), who has lived and worked across 3 continents (Africa, Asia and North America). The management team has successfully executed a telemedicine solution across various market segments since 2012, and are ably advised by a board which includes a presidential economic advisor, a medical funding industry stalwart, a disruptive technology innovator, a risk and compliance auditor and an Africa-region investment specialist.
