Our company sells mobile loan Software As A Service (SAAS) products to SACCOs and Micro-finance Institutions (MFIs) to allow them disburse emergency loans efficiently to their members. This reduces their turnaround time from 48 hours to 10 seconds. We have currently signed up two SACCOs and two Micro-finance Institutions with a collective membership of 69,105 users and have so far transacted over $1.2 Million. We also have tremendous inquiries from SACCOs and MFIs to deploy our solution across the country but this has been a challenge due to the need for extra staff during deployment. Regarding our model, we charge the SACCOS & MFIs, a setup fee of $5,000 one-off, negotiable and thereafter, a revenue share of 2.5% per principal loan disbursed to their member through our platform. These emergency loans are usually monthly loans charged at 10% per month. We provide the SACCOs & MFIs with a web portal for management and report analysis and a USSD solution for their members’ application.
