FINAL: LINKAGES is a social enterprise supporting women and youth to start and run successful local businesses in communities where they live to increase food production, create employment and increase household incomes for the rural poor. Through our graduation loan model, LINKAGES is making it easy for rural women and youth to access fiancé to start agricultural and farm businesses. Beyond financing, we build their capacity through our 1:1 business training and coaching tool kit, introducing them to technology where they learn how to save, borrow and bank money through mobile money transfers using mobile applications and connect them to markets through our networking and partnership program.
LINKAGES is leveraging on the power of group lending as an alternative to physical collateral for women and youth to easily access financing to start and run local agricultural enterprises.
