Lauracate We are diverse, We are privileged

Lauracate is a startup that was born at home in 2016 on the initiative of Laura a young woman with Down Syndrome, who dreamed of “becoming a chef, setting up her own guacamole business and not working for anyone”; in 2021 we trained as a company and today we have three lines of business: 1. “lauracategourmet” where products with avocado are elaborated and marketed: guacamoles, sauces and palettes; Laura and her mami (the founders), developed all these products and today they have INVIMA registration. 2. “lauracatefood”, where we offer gastronomic experiences at our AMAPLA @amaplacocinautorRestaurant; 3. “lauracateschool”, led by Laura’s mom, will offer training programs for competencies, awareness programs on the neurodiversity, and assembly of an incubator for entrepreneurs with disabilities and their caregivers.
