Kumi Perma Ecovillage

At Kumi Perma Ecovillage we use waste as a resource. In fact there are so many waste especially with the banana pseudo stem. When the banana fruit is harvested the stem is left to go waste. Some people even burn them causing environmental pollution. But the fiber in these pseudo stem could be extracted and processed into making papers, plates, spoons, cups, sanitary towels, hair extensions and so on to replace the plastic pollution that has become a challenge.
This addresses the UN SDG of zero hunger, good health and environment and other SDG’s. About 50% of Ghanaian population will love to use these ecofriendly products and we targeting only 25% of them. We have the extractor machine we use in experimenting. We will love to have a full automation set of banana paper making machine, hair extensions machine, sanatory towel machine and other machines to produce these biodegradable products. We need your support.
